To this day, nothing has changed in my thinking. I still don't believe Casey purposely or accidently killed her precious daughter Caylee. She is a mystery.
Reading back to her interview in Universal Studios, the statement that sticks in my mind is when the officer asked her "how is this helping find your daughter?" she says "it is in a backwards sort of way". I find this helpful. She leading the detectives in a totally ridiculous useless trip. From the random apts. she picks out to finally her place of employment, which is laughable to me. This is what I think.
When she says in a "backwards sort of way", detectives should look in the opposite direction. If she was north of Orlando, look south. This is what she wants them to do. She bringing them to her job, her fake job. LE should look for the real one.
I think Casey did have a job. I know some would say if she had a job, why would she steal and take everything she could from Cindy? Well, there's talk of a bank account, there's talk of $15,000, there's talk of her buying a house (her mother's) where she and Amy Huizenga will live. Maybe Casey was squirreling away all of her earnings in order to be independent.
The investigation, cell phone pings, numerous text messages in the early morning hours of the day, this points to a person who isn't lazy. She's busy. There's a reason she gets up in the morning, she IS going to work.
Something happened in the middle of all of this. It is possible Caylee's death was an accident. Busy people sometimes overlook things, maybe she overlooked the back door being unlocked and maybe Caylee did go outside and the ladder was there and Caylee fell in. I'm talking about June 17th, when she's calling George and Cindy.
She's calling Tony Lazarro, Jesse Grund too. This could have been when the accident occurred. The timeline and pattern of calls fit. Also the fact that Caylee was found in street clothes points to an accident. I wonder if the FBI checked her clothing for the presence of chlorine or chemicals that would be found in the pool.
I'm glad things have calmed down in the Anthony case. This gives people time to think and be more objective instead of angry. The public is angry and they should be.
Aren't we all, when we're faced with the death of a baby? Aren't we all angry when we see pictures of the mother out dancing while her baby was supposedly kidnapped?
Of course.
I'll be looking into the old stuff again. Looking at the transcripts and interviews, with fresh eyes and an open mind and this time I promise to be objective in whatever direction this takes me. Back to the drawing board!

About Me
- DeeMarie
- I keep a close eye on justice in America. I'm a huge advocate of the truth. I was raised by a strong mild mannered lady, who warned me early in life to never believe everything you hear and only half of what you see. Born in the era of the JFK Assassination, I learned through my mother that the news can not be trusted, we must believe what is logical and what can be proven. She also taught me never to pre-judge anyone until I know the facts. Also never forget the atrocity of the Salem Trials. I've taught my children the same and I am very proud of them when they don't follow the crowd. I have raised three free thinking individuals. Something that I hope can be an asset in their lives. This is who I am. A hippy at heart, a realist in mind and a constant student of life.
